Little To See

I have recently noticed the difficulty in finding a location where fair trade coffee is sold. However, as that coffee becomes more and more popular as it is, the fair trade coffee might be easier to find. On the same note, word of mouth cannot be the only strategy to find fair trade coffee. If you have not noticed, I’ve come to inform you that fair trade coffee is very hard and retailers do little to promote it. Regarding the title of this post, I use a metaphor to describe the scarcity in finding fair trade coffee because I have seen it is hiding behind the best coffee the retailers put up for sale.

How Many People Can It Take?

What is Coffee to people? It’s a product known to the majority of the world population. Whether they know it because it’s the product they produce, or the product they buy, coffee is like lady gaga in that her figure is known around the world. The same would go to coffee. This is because it is famous in its own way; likewise, anyone can recognize the name. In any way, coffee is an extremely popular product during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Enjoy coffee today or tomorrow, and think of the workers needed to make the coffee become what is in your hand

Both types of coffee are not always cheap, but they do include good quality.

Companies like Wal-Mart and Amazon have proven that products sold cheaper than their competition, will sell better. I clearly agree with this idea and follow it daily when i go shopping. This applies to fair trade because it is more expensive than regular coffee. You may or may not believe this is important, but the reality is that this causes people to think again if it is worth buying fair trade with little knowledge of it at all. This leads to my second point, which is that, people need to have more access to information of fair trade coffee. Studies have shown that once people know about fair trade they are more willing to buy it. For These reasons fair trade needs to be more commonly known and there also needs to be a way to make the coffee just as expensive as regular, even if it includes a smaller profit. Anyways, what can you say about the great taste of fair trade since it is grown in a healthier environment than normal coffee. The Fair Trade Federation has always made the cooperatives aware of the environmental issues, and as a result, few or no pesticides are used in producing the coffee, consequently, the coffee is more organic and natural.

Conquered Obstacles In A Perfect World

Imagine what the world would be like, in your opinion, if it was perfect. So many of us try to make it as best as we can but we never achieve perfection. I’m not a perfectionist either and I believe the world cannot be perfect either. If you have not noticed yet, we see obstacles every day of our lives. These obstacles can be as simple as working to earn a living, but they can also be complex. Like relationship problems. You may be asking why, so here I is: if the world was perfect, we wouldn’t face any obstacles or challenges in our life and therefore, what would we wake up to do?

Its incredible, the amount of problems on this surface which affect the rest of the world.

Someone once told me, “if there were no challenges to face in life, what would be the point of living it?” I agree completely with this quote and believe likewise, that we should also try our hardest to solve the problems we can. In the same way, Drought, malnutrition, and unfair labor wages are all large-scale challenges the entire world faces every morning the sun goes up. However simple things like water, food, and purchasing power are all solutions to the three large-scale problems. As you can see, these solutions are not complex, but they are simple and very easily accomplished. Fair trade ties in with purchasing power in that Fair trade is the result of successful purchasing power in coffee at least. However, the only way that people will ever get to know how to conquer these big challenges that face the world, people need to know. I believe communication is very important because we can all share ideas with it. So in the end, if we all spread information among others, knowledge can spread fast and problems in the world can be challenged, to make an attempt to improve the lives of our own species.

Share Your Love

Do you think that we should help support coffee startups as much as we do to big name companies? In fact, I believe it is only fair to do so since the startup’s products may be just as good as any well-known company that supplies coffee. While you may think that your favorite big name company hosts the best coffee, there are many other companies out there, some even being local, that could have coffee just as good or maybe even better. I am not saying that we need to buy all of our coffee from small coffee local shops, however, I am saying that we should try it out. Don’t think that I am saying this because I agree with buying local because that is not the point I am getting across. What I mean is that there are thousands of small coffee companies, and we should all try a couple of them to just try it out. From a small retailer’s perspective, I would appreciate if every now and then someone new tried my coffee. Likewise, almost all big name brands have started this way, and what made them attain the fame and success that they have today was having something special that consumers saw in their products.
